Free Plan Limitations
CosmoGrid branding and basic CDP / traffic tracking are enabled by default and cannot be disabled on the free plan. Custom-domain binding is not available on the free plan.

Paid Plans Can Use Your Own Domain
The domain must be owned and renewed by the client. CosmoGrid offers a custom-domain setup service to assist with DNS routing, website binding, and HTTPS configuration.

The standard setup is to point www、site or another subdomain via CNAME to the dedicated [tenant-id].cosmopage.io provided by CosmoGrid. The client does not need to obtain or configure a CosmoGrid origin IP.
Root Domain Support Depends on Your DNS Provider

If your DNS provider supports ALIAS, ANAME, or CNAME Flattening, the root domain can be configured accordingly. If not, we recommend using www.example.com as the production website address.
Custom Domain:Custom-domain binding is available as an add-on for paid hosting plans only. The client provides the domain. CosmoGrid does not charge an SSL certificate fee, but initial domain binding, DNS, and HTTPS setup are charged separately.

SSL Certificates Are Included at No Additional Certificate Fee
CosmoGrid helps enable HTTPS for CosmoPage default URLs and eligible custom domains. Users do not need to purchase a standard SSL certificate separately.

Why is the free plan limited to 10MB?
The free plan is intended for simple static pages, portfolio showcases, and AI-generated websites. 10MB is sufficient for compressed HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a small number of images while helping prevent the free service from being used as bulk file storage.
Can the paid 500MB plan be used for video or large downloads?
The 500MB plan is intended for static website assets. It is not positioned as a video platform, cloud drive, or large download service. Large-file or high-bandwidth requirements need separate assessment.
Can CosmoGrid branding be removed on the free plan?
No. The free plan keeps CosmoGrid branding and enables CosmoGrid basic CDP / traffic tracking. After upgrading to paid hosting, the branding can be removed and CDP can be enabled or disabled.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, as a paid-plan add-on. The client must own the domain. The standard setup is to point a subdomain via CNAME to [tenant-id].cosmopage.io.
Do I need to point DNS directly to a CosmoGrid IP address?
No. The standard custom-domain setup uses CNAME to point to the tenant-specific cosmopage.io address, so a CosmoGrid origin IP does not need to be provided to the client.
Is there an additional fee for the SSL certificate?
No. SSL / HTTPS certificates are provided by CosmoGrid without a separate certificate fee. Custom domains are only charged for the initial DNS, domain binding, and HTTPS setup service.
